FAQ
Policies
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your first visit begins with a thoughtful consultation to understand your skin history, current concerns, and goals. From there, your treatment is fully customized. Expect a calm, intentional experience focused on both visible results and nervous system regulation.
I’m not sure which facial to book. What do you recommend?
If you’re new to Opalite, the Opalite Signature Facial is the perfect place to begin. We can adjust the treatment during your visit if needed or recommend a more corrective option.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear whatever feels comfortable. You will be properly draped throughout your treatment, and only the area being treated will be exposed. Many clients come in everyday clothing. You do not need to wear makeup — but if you do, it will be gently removed during cleansing.
What if I fall asleep during my facial?
That is always welcome. Many clients drift into sleep during treatment. Opalite facials are designed to regulate the nervous system as well as support the skin, so rest is part of the process. You will be gently guided when it’s time to transition.
Will extractions hurt?
Extractions are performed only when appropriate and always with care. The goal is effective clearing without unnecessary trauma to the skin. If you are concerned about sensitivity, we can adjust your treatment plan accordingly.
Will I experience downtime after a peel or advanced exfoliation?
Most treatments involve minimal downtime. You may experience mild redness, warmth, or light flaking depending on the level of exfoliation used. Clear aftercare instructions will be provided to support optimal healing.
How often should I get a facial?
For maintenance and long-term skin health, most clients benefit from treatments every 4–6 weeks. For more corrective goals, a customized plan may be recommended.
Can I talk during my facial?
Of course. Some clients enjoy conversation, others prefer quiet. This is your time — we’ll follow your lead.
What products do you use?
Opalite works with professional skincare lines including Skin Script and SIV. Products are selected based on your skin’s current condition and long-term goals.
Is LED therapy safe?
Yes. LED therapy is non-invasive and supports inflammation reduction, collagen stimulation, and overall skin recovery. It is safe for most skin types.
Do you offer acne treatments?
While Opalite focuses on restorative and corrective skin health, acne-supportive treatments are available through customized exfoliation and guided homecare recommendations.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! You can purchase online gift cards directly through the booking link anytime, for any occasion.
